Our Founder, Santa Tim, began his Santa career on December 23, 1969, while serving in the Army in Viet Nam. Wearing beards of shaving crème, he and a fellow soldier, played Santa for their fellow servicemen.
A year later, home from the war and going to college, Santa Tim got a second calling to be Santa for Bullock’s Department Stores in California. He worked three years in the department store and thus his life changed forever. After college he worked in broadcasting, for newspapers and eventually for major national charities as a professional fund raiser and event planner. And no matter where he worked after that, he continued to be Santa for friends, relatives and at the companies where he worked.
In 1999, as he was looking towards retirement, he decided that becoming a professional Santa would fit into his plans. Starting with visits to local families and then companies and corporations, he started a small business. And because of his connections and past work in broadcasting and with major national corporations, his business grew.
Today, RealSantas.com annually places from a few hundred Santas, to as many as 700 Santas for as many as 3000+ visit each year. From visiting single families, to block parties, to associations and corporate clients, to National television broadcasts. RealSantas.com handles it all.
Our client roster includes: Coca-Cola, Microsoft, Bass Pro, Toys R. We are annually contracted to recruit for the major Holiday Mall Photo companies, Theme attractions and our Professional Santa Roster ranges from quality photo Santas for malls and Department Stores, to Premiere Santas for major media events, tree lightings, parades, radio and television, commercials, theatrical productions and overseas assignments.
